Nigel is a mechanical engineer with experience spanning research and development, failure analysis, equipment design, manufacturing, materials handling and more than a decade in feasibility studies through to detail design of oil and gas processing facilities and ancillaries. He has made significant contributions to recent feasibility studies of large-scale green ammonia and hydrogen production facilities in Australia and overseas. Based on an enduring interest in energy and the environment he completed a Master of Sustainable Energy (UQ) in 2021 and has become engaged with the broader social and economic aspects of energy transition.
