Greg Perkins is a co-founder and director of Wildfire Energy, an Australian cleantech start up developing the MIHG process for converting residual wastes into valuable products including electricity, hydrogen and fuels/chemicals. Wildfire Energy’s MIHG technology uses a proprietary moving injection gasification concept within a batch reactor that makes distributed waste processing simple and economically attractive.
Greg has degrees in Science and Mechanical Engineering from Monash University, Melbourne, a PhD in gasification from the University of New South Wales, Sydney and an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles. Prior to co-founding Wildfire Energy, Greg spent 15 years in a variety of engineering, technology and management roles at companies including Rio Tinto, Shell International and an Australian listed oil and gas company.
