Delene is Aurecon’s Process Safety and Technical Risk Principal, leading a community of risk, safety, fire and reliability specialists. Through her grounding in chemical engineering, she has worked as a process safety engineer for Major Hazard Facility industries as well as boutique and large consultancies as a risk consultant. She has assured the development of Safety Management Systems, Land Use Planning Risk Assessments, Hazardous Area Compliance, and leadership of risk reviews. Delene is Vice President of the Australasian Institute of Dangerous Goods Consultants and works with Standards Australia to provide verification advice for the hydrogen storage and handling standard.
