Welcome to the Hydrogen Connect Summit program guidelines page.

Please find following details to assist with your moderator/presenter/contributor role within the program. 

Navigate to the section that applies to you and read the guidelines carefully.

Pre-summit workshops

All pre-conference workshops will be held on Tuesday 5 September in the Podium Rooms at Rydges South Bank. 

Pre-summit workshop: moderator

As the workshop moderator, you are welcome to provide a slide deck, but this is not required. There will be a laptop connected to the projector within your workshop room for use.

While workshop contributors are not expected to provide a presentation, they have been told that they are welcome to if they are so inclined.

Note: If you operate in a Macintosh environment, please ensure that any files you use are compatible with PC hardware as MACs will not be available for use at the Summit.

Loading your presentation (if relevant)

Please load your presentation directly to the laptop in your workshop room upon arrival to the venue.

Presentation guidelines

  • Please be at the venue at least half an hour prior to the start of your workshop.
  • Speakers will use the lectern microphone for their presentation

Note: Your workshop feedback and key takeaways will be showcased in a roundtable discussion on Wednesday 6 September at the Hydrogen Connect Summit at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, we welcome your contribution.

Please note there will be no PowerPoint facilities during the roundtable discussions.

Summit presentations

The Hydrogen Connect Summit will be held Wednesday 6 September to Thursday 7 September at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Summit: Keynote/quick fire case studies presenter

Loading your presentation (if relevant)

All speakers are required to pre load their presentations at the speaker’s preparation room at least 2 hours prior to their session commencing. 

All presentations will be networked to the presentation rooms; therefore you need to ensure your presentation is loaded prior to your speaking time. 

The speaker preparation room will be located in P5, Plaza Level, Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. The opening hours are: 

  • Wednesday 6 September: 0830 – 1700 hours
  • Thursday 7 September: 0730 – 1530 hours

Presentation guidelines

  • Please meet in your session room during the break immediately prior to your scheduled session. At this time you should check that any special requirements you have pre-arranged have been met
  • Seating at the front of the room is reserved for speakers to allow easy access to the lectern. On conclusion of your introduction by the chairperson, you will proceed to the lectern for your presentation
  • Speakers will use the lectern microphone for their presentation
  • Speakers are responsible for advancing their own slides using a clicker at the lectern

Summit: Panellist and panel moderators

Presentation guidelines

  • There are no requirements to provide any PowerPoint presentations
  • Please meet in your session room during the break immediately prior to your scheduled session. At this time you should check that any special requirements you have pre-arranged have been met
  • Panel moderators / Panellists will be seated on stage for the duration of the panel session. Depending on the room there will be either lapel microphones or lectern microphones available. 

Summit: Roundtable facilitators and contributors

  • There will be no opportunity to show PowerPoint presentations
  • Please meet in your session room during the break immediately prior to your scheduled session.
